Transfer from airport (1h) to the hotel. Accommodation.

Overnight: Quito

08:30 Departure from your hotel to visit the Historical Center declared humanity’s Cultural Heritage being America’s largest and best preserved, walk through the Basilica, Main Plaza, Government Palace, Society of Jesus $ 5, the church and convent of San Francisco, followed by Panecillo Viewpoint. Next departure to the Middle of the World and visit the Monument to the Ecuador Line, Latitude 0,0,0, $ 5, time for lunch, we will also visit the Museum site “Intiñan” $ 4. In the afternoon return to Quito and visit to the Teleferico $9, those who decide to climb will reach the top of Cruz Loma where they will observe Quito and its surroundings from 4,050 meters above sea level, at the end a brief visit to the craft market for purchases and return.

Depart from your hotel and head north and visit the “Plaza de Ponchos” which is Otavalo’s crafts and fabrics market. We will also visit Cotacachi and the different leather stores. On our way there we will enjoy different Andean landscapes, we will be able to see El Lago San Pablo and different volcanoes such as Imbabura and Cayambe. It will be a shopping day with a lot of folklore. If time is helpful we will visit the waterfalls in the town of Peguche with a light walk. Do not forget to try the delicious “Bizcochos y Queso de Hoja en Cayambe”. Return to Quito.

08:00 Departure from your hotel. Visit to Cotopaxi National Park, located 70 km south-east of Quito, we will begin the visit with a walk around the “Limpiopungo” lagoon, an opportunity to see birds, wild horses and the “chuquiraguas” which is known as the flower of the Andes; we will surround ourselves with a lot of nature. We have a free admission patent and specialized guides, then a stop will be made at Hostería La Ciénega, historic place because it was visited by Wolf in the 19th century, and also a brief visit to an export Roses Farm $ 4. Return.
